For your property to qualify it must be a house, must not be in a conservation area and if it is a leasehold property, you must have held the lease for at least 7 years. Yes, but Making Rooms can arrange all local authority permissions on your behalf should you wish. This includes drawing all the plans, making the application and liaising with the council on your behalf to ensure your application is successful.

It takes approximately 8 weeks for the council to decide on your application, this is the same for planning permission and lawful development.

It takes approximately 2-4 weeks to conduct a survey, draw up the plans and get them registered with the local council.
Yes, it is necessary to apply for building regulations when converting your loft.
Typically, within 2-4 weeks of all permissions being obtained.
During the first four weeks, the builders normally enter through the roof and then access the house during the final stages. This keeps disruption to a minimum. All materials are brought in externally the roof.
Construction work is usually completed within 6-8 weeks, Depending of your size, scope and any specification of the conversion.
Yes, Making Rooms hereby Guarantees other than ‘fair Wear And Tear or Abuse’ all workmanship carried out by Making Rooms, and materials used by Making Rooms are covered by a 10 year guarantee from the completion date. The plumbing and electrics are not covered in the 10 year guarantee; they are covered for 2 years only.
